Expecting to become a universal industrial and commercial logistic hub Egypt will create an integrated transportation network (ports- roads-railways)
Cairo hosts “Egyptian International Logistics Services Forum” on November 8 at the Semiramis Hotel, Cairo, that will be touching upon numerous issues under the following titles: Egypt as a universal industrial and commercial logistic hub, Egypt’s giant projects: the Suez Canal and the Logistic Center for Cereals as an example, projects’ funding and role of international financial institutions, role of logistics in laying sustainable foundations for the Arab trade development, and Egypt as the world’s gateway to Africa.
Various public and private institutions are co-organizing the forum, namely: the General Union of Egypt Chambers of Commerce, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, the Ministry of Investment, the Suez Canal Commission, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and Al-Iktissad Wal Aamal Group.
The forum will be attended by multiple government officials from Egypt and other countries, decision makers in investment companies especially those operating in different sectors of transportation, industrialization, contracting, exports, imports, distribution, retail, as well as banks, insurance companies, funding institutions and export guarantee corporations, etc.
