Sharaf: We keen to create climate attractive for investments, solve problems facing investors

Prime Minister Essam Sharaf received Thursday 15/09/2011 UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed al-Mansuri. The meeting discussed means to boost economic relations between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, remove obstacles facing the UAE companies investing in Egypt and establish joint projects between the two countries in Egypt.

Egypt appreciates the UAE's support of its development efforts, Cabinet spokesman Mohamed Hegazi quoted Sharaf as saying.

The Egyptian government is resolved to solve all the problems that UAE investors have been encountering in the country, Hegazi said.

The UAE affirmed confidence in the Egyptian economy to make a take-off in the near future. Sharaf said the people of Egypt are appreciating the United Arab Emirates standing by Egypt and UAE businessmen continuing with making investments in Egypt to support the development projects.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Hazem Al Beblawi, Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs and Finance Minister, and Fayza Abul-Naga Planning and International Cooperation Minister.

For his part, Mansuri said that the United Arab Emirates is keen to boost its ties with Egypt.
