Nigeria: Country's Trade with Egypt Hits U.S.$11 Million
Muhammed Yusuf Lere said this when the Egyptian Ambassador to Nigeria, Yusuf Showky paid the minister of National Planning Dr. Shamsudeen Usman, a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja.
In a statement signed by the spokesperson of the commission, Salisu B. Haiba, the president said since the advent of the business council, indices have shown that the trade statistics between both countries have improved from $5 million to $11 million.
He said Nigerians are to get reduced health charges of 50 percent from the Arab Contractors Hospital, while urging the Federal Government to be proactive in order to attract more investors to the country.
The Minister of National Planning Commission, Dr. Shamsuddeen Usman expressed concern over imbalance of trade between Nigeria and Egypt.
