Emaar Misr, the wholly owned subsidiary of Emaar Properties PJSC, has signed a contract with German leader Grohe for undertaking the bathroom fittings in Uptown Cairo, the company's pioneering master-planned community in the country.

The agreement marks that the project's first phase has entered the final stages of completion with the first homes to be handed over shortly. All residential units of Uptown Cairo are delivered fully finished with kitchen and kitchen fittings, windows, air conditioning and bathroom fittings.

As per the agreement, Grohe will supply the bathroom fixtures and faucets across all residences in the first phase of Emaar Misr's Uptown Cairo project. With over 4,500 workers on site, work is progressing rapidly.

Haitham Fekry, Development Director for Uptown Cairo, said that Emaar Misr is committed to completing the first phase of Uptown Cairo soon, and hand over homes to customers. "We are currently in the finishing stages of homes, which are being developed to world-class build quality. We selected Grohe for the bathroom fittings based on their proven credentials and commitment to the highest quality. Grohe is a perfect fit for Emaar Misr, complementing the high standards we have set for our developments in Egypt."

Amer Abdel Hady, Grohe General Manager for Egypt and North Africa, said that the bathroom fittings in Uptown Cairo will be of the highest quality. "The agreement marks the trust of Emaar Misr in Grohe and our long history. Through this project, we will add further value to the Egyptian residential property market."
