Egypt's Alex Cement lifts first-half profit 25%

CAIRO Aug 4 (Reuters) - Egypt's Alexandria Cement said on Thursday its first-half net profit rose 25 percent year on year to 357.9 million Egyptian pounds ($60 million).

The subsidiary of Greek cement maker Titan Cement (TTNr.AT: Quote) posted net profit of 286.5 million pounds in the same period a year earlier. ($1 = 5.955 Egyptian Pounds).
