Egypt Natural-Gas Reserves Increase by 122 Billion Cubic Feet
Egypt’s natural-gas reserves rose by 122 billion cubic feet (3.45 billion cubic meters) and its crude and condensate reserves increased by 55 million barrels, Al Gomhuria said yesterday, citing Oil Minister Abdulla Ghorab.
Twenty-seven exploratory wells were drilled in the Western Desert in the fiscal year that ended June 30, the Cairo-based newspaper cited Ghorab as saying.
