Deutsche Bank appoints Societe Generale as sub-custodian for assets in Egypt
Deutsche Bank has appointed Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) to act as sub-custodian for its proprietary and client assets in Egypt.
SGSS said that its custody platform in Egypt will provide Deutsche Bank with a range of services centred on custody & settlement.
According to SGSS, the platform builds on Societe Generale Group's experience in the country, where it has been providing custody services to domestic clients for more than 30 years through its subsidiary NSGB.
Established in 27 locations worldwide with around 4,000 employees, SGSS provides clearing services, custody and trustee services, retail custody services, liquidity management, fund administration and asset servicing, fund distribution and global issuer services that are adapted to the latest financial markets and regulatory evolution.
