The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board (ETPB/ETA), took part in the international travel exhibition "Ferie For Alle 2026", held in the city of Herning, Denmark.

The event is considered the largest tourism fair in Scandinavia.

Egypt’s pavilion was inaugurated by the Egyptian ambassador to Denmark in the presence of the board officials.

The booth drew strong turnout from visitors and diplomats, highlighting growing Danish interest in Egypt as a cultural and winter destination.

Officials said the participation was backed by a promotional campaign and meetings with major airlines and tour operators, who voiced rising demand and increased weekly flights to Egypt in the upcoming season.

The 40-square-meter pavilion showcased Egypt’s diverse attractions, particularly in South Sinai and the Red Sea, and featured interactive activities and traditional cuisine.

This year’s fair brought together 1,021 exhibitors and 30 official tourism boards from leading destinations worldwide.
