Industry Ministry launches iOS version of investor-support app
The app, first launched several months ago on Android, is designed to streamline communication with the ministry and its affiliated agencies, enabling users to submit complaints and requests digitally.
According to the ministry, the app has now been fully integrated with the ministries and authorities represented in the Ministerial Group for Industrial Development, including the ministries of Environment; Military Production; Electricity and Renewable Energy; Petroleum and Mineral Resources; Housing; Public Enterprise; Finance; Investment and Foreign Trade; Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation; Supply and Internal Trade; and Agriculture, as well as the Ministry of Labour, the Central Bank of Egypt, and the National Food Safety Authority.
This integration allows for direct tracking of investor complaints and enquiries across all relevant entities.
The expansion comes as part of directives by Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, to create a unified window for handling investor requests. Since the establishment of the Investor Support Unit, the ministry has received 2,382 complaints and requests, resolved 604, and provided guidance to 992 investors, according to the statement.
Through the app, investors can submit complaints or enquiries directly to the Investor Support Unit, receive notifications when their case is referred to the relevant authority, and obtain final responses once issued. The system also allows users to send follow-up reminders if a response is delayed.
How to register and submit a request
Investors can create an account by entering their personal details—name, phone number, email, business activity, and governorate—before selecting the desired service (complaint or enquiry).
To file a submission, users should:
* Tap “Start” to enter the app
* Register their personal data on first use
* Select “Complaints” or “Enquiries”
* Enter the title and subject of the request
* Upload supporting documents (up to five images)
* Press “Submit”
Users can view their profile, track the status of their request, or send a reminder by selecting “Follow-up”.
The Android version is available on Google Play, and the iOS version is now accessible through the App Store.
The ministry noted that the Investor Support Unit was established to expedite the handling of investor requests and remove obstacles in coordination with all relevant bodies.
