Egypt and Tunisia have signed eight memoranda of understanding (MoUs) covering a wide range of sectors, reinforcing bilateral ties and advancing cooperation between the two nations.

The new agreements span several fields, including health and medical sciences, export development, social affairs, and support for small, medium, and micro enterprises. They also feature two executive programs for youth and sports for the 2026–2027 period, alongside an executive program in consumer protection and market oversight.

Diplomatic cooperation was further strengthened through the signing of an MoU between Egypt’s Institute for Diplomatic Studies and Tunisia’s International Diplomatic Academy.

The ceremony concluded with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and his Tunisian counterpart, Sarah Al-Zafrani, signing the minutes of the 18th session of the Egyptian–Tunisian Joint Higher Committee, marking another step forward in the longstanding partnership between Cairo and Tunis.
