The Grand Egyptian Museum is set to open in November, marking a landmark moment for Egypt’s tourism industry. This highly anticipated launch will showcase the world’s most extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities, including the complete treasures of King Tutankhamun, drawing millions of visitors and revitalizing Egypt’s cultural tourism sector.

After years of anticipation and delays, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) near Cairo’s iconic Giza Pyramids is finally ready to open its doors to the world. Slated for its official inauguration on November 1, 2025, this monumental complex is set to become the largest archaeological museum globally, showcasing the unparalleled history and treasures of ancient Egypt.

The museum will be home to the most extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities, with a major highlight being the complete exhibition of King Tutankhamun’s treasures. For the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to explore his iconic golden mask, chariots, jewelry, and many other precious items that have long captivated the world. These artifacts, which were previously spread across various museums and collections, will now be housed together, offering an unprecedented view into the life and legacy of the boy king.

Beyond the treasures of Tutankhamun, the GEM will feature a vast range of exhibits spread throughout its galleries and grand hall.
