Dokki's Agricultural Museum Reopens After Lengthy Hiatus

The Agricultural Museum in Dokki – one of the ’s largest of its kind – has reopened its doors to visitors after a lengthy hiatus. Step inside and you’ll be greeted with ancient systems and statues tracing how Egypt’s agriculture evolved from ancient times to the present day.


The museum features old machinery, statues of plants, birds and animals, and depictions of people and the farming traditions they lived by. The vast complex houses eight smaller museums, including the Egyptian-Chinese Friendship Museum, Cotton Museum, Heritage Collections Museum and more.


Entry is free and open to the public from 9 AM to 3 PM daily until the end of August.
