Sisi, Museveni inaugurate Egypt-Uganda Business Forum in Cairo
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday inaugurated the Egypt-Uganda Business Forum alongside his Ugandan counterpart, President Yoweri Museveni, as part of his current visit to Egypt.
According to Presidential Spokesman Mohamed El Shennawy, the two leaders attended the forum’s opening session, which featured keynote addresses by Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Hassan El Khatib and Ugandan Minister of Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives Mwebesa Francis.
The event also included the screening of a documentary showcasing the long-standing historic ties between Egypt and Uganda.
In his address, President Sisi emphasized the vast and promising opportunities available to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between the two nations.
