A&K Sanctuary’s fifth riverboat in Egypt to set sail in 2026
A&K Sanctuary will launch a new riverboat in Egypt next year, called Nile Seray.
It will be the brand’s fifth luxury riverboat in Egypt and is described as “the most sophisticated and spacious to date.”
With its name, Seray, meaning "palace," the vessel carries 64 guests in 32 suites.
Entry-level suites are a “generous” 33 square meters, and there are two suites with full private balconies featuring outdoor spa pools.
Every booking features visits to some of the tombs on the West Bank of the Nile that are not on the usual sightseeing route: Nefertari, Seti I, Ramses VI and King Tutankhamun.
There are two restaurants—one indoors, one outdoors—a spa and gym, and a top deck with canopied daybeds, a swimming pool, and an outdoor bar and lounge.
Nile Seray sails between Aswan and Luxor on four-night voyages that include visits to the temples of Luxor, Karnak, and Aswan, alongside cultural experiences such as felucca sailing around Elephantine Island, Egyptian cooking classes, traditional entertainment including costume parties and Dervish shows, and the opportunity for hot-air balloon rides.
