On Tuesday, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration Badr Abdelatty praised the outcomes of the Egypt–Nigeria Business Forum, which took place Monday in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.

The forum brought together 30 Egyptian business leaders, CEOs, and company representatives under the leadership of Dr. Sherif El-Gabaly, Head of the African Cooperation Committee at the Federation of Egyptian Industries.

Also participating were Dr. Mohie Hafez, Chairman of the Export Council for Medical Industries; Major General Hazem Ahmed Yehia, Assistant Director of the “Future of Egypt” Sustainable Development Project; and representatives from the General Petroleum Authority and Mineral Resources Authority.

The forum served as a dynamic platform for B2B meetings between Egyptian and Nigerian companies. These discussions opened the door to forming strategic partnerships and launching joint projects across multiple sectors, including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, and renewable energy.

The outcomes represented a meaningful step toward building real development-oriented cooperation that reflects the shared interests of both nations and promotes greater economic integration between Egypt and Nigeria.
