EgyptAir resumes flights to Gulf countries

EgyptAir announced it would resume flights to Gulf countries – which had been temporarily impacted by recent regional events – with the gradual reopening of several airspaces according to a revised and constantly updating schedule.

The company said in an official statement that, “In light of the current developments and events in the region, EgyptAir is closely monitoring the situation in full coordination with the relevant authorities and the Civil Aviation Authority.”

Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait also announced on Monday evening the temporary closure of their airspace following Iran’s attack on US bases in the region.
