The plan involves halting natural gas supplies to certain industrial activities, maximizing fuel oil (mazut) use in power stations to the fullest extent possible, and coordinating the operation of some stations using diesel.

In a statement, the ministry confirmed it is working to secure a reassuring stockpile of petroleum products and natural gas during this period.

The move aims to maintain the stability of the natural gas network and avoid power load shedding until gas supplies from the East resume.

The Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy affirmed the unified electricity grid's stability and supply continuity. It reviewed fuel reserves needed to run production units and declared a state of heightened readiness to ensure electricity remains available for all uses.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is coordinating with relevant authorities regarding flight movements, the return of land-travel pilgrims, and the status of tourists currently in Egypt whose home countries have closed their airspace following recent events.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly also confirmed the situation is under close watch, noting that Central Bank Governor Hassan Abdalla and Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk have coordinated efforts to bolster strategic reserves of essential goods.
