Hilton Expands in Egypt: New Luxury Hotels to Open in Cairo’s New Administrative Capital, Offering Premium Accommodation
In a move that signals both a strategic business expansion and a commitment to Egypt’s evolving tourism and business landscape, global hospitality giant Hilton has signed an agreement with Panax Company, a subsidiary of Selim Holding Group. The collaboration will see two new Hilton-branded properties opening in Cairo’s New Administrative Capital (NAC), scheduled for completion in 2028. These new properties, Hilton Cairo New Capital Downtown and Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Capital Downtown, will bring Hilton’s world-class hospitality to the heart of the city’s newest development, offering upscale accommodations for both business and leisure travelers.
For Hilton, this expansion into the NAC marks a significant step in its broader growth strategy in Egypt, where the company aims to triple its footprint in the coming years. By 2028, Hilton plans to exceed 40 operational properties across the country, capitalizing on the rapid urbanization and booming tourism sector. The opening of these two hotels not only strengthens Hilton’s position in the Middle East and North Africa region but also aligns with the ongoing transformation of Cairo into a global business and cultural hub.
The location of Hilton’s new properties in Cairo’s New Administrative Capital has been carefully chosen to cater to the growing demand for high-end accommodations in the heart of the city’s economic and political centers. The Hilton Cairo New Capital Downtown and Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Capital Downtown will be situated just minutes away from key government buildings, including the Presidential Palace and the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), as well as the Central Business District. This prime location ensures that both properties will serve not only tourists but also the increasing number of business travelers who frequent the capital for meetings, conferences, and events.
