Tourism rates up by 15% due to promotion strategies of state
Member of the Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF) Hossam Hazaa asserted that the rates of tourism increased by 15 percent to 20 percent in some tourist areas as a result of the strategies followed by the state to promote tourism and monitor it to guarantee presenting the services and providing security and stability.
In a meeting on the Extra News channel on Saturday, 29/3/2025, Hazaa said that the state follows touristic promotion strategies that have a clear impact.
Egypt has great touristic potentials that demand various promotion plans for each country, he said, adding that it is keen on participating in international exhibitions and benefiting from the cultural activities, such as inaugurating the Grand Egyptian Museum, to promote tourism.
Wide-scale Egyptian tourism campaigns were conducted in Ramadan in the Arab and Gulf countries, he said.
