Zoho launches Projects Plus platform to support enterprises in MENA
With native integration tools like Zoho Projects, WorkDrive, Analytics, and Sprints, Projects Plus is designed to streamline project workflows, file management, real-time business intelligence, and flexible collaboration.
It supports both agile and waterfall project management methodologies. Agile project management is an iterative approach to delivering a project throughout its life cycle. Iterative or agile life cycles are composed of several iterations or incremental steps towards the completion of a project.
The waterfall project management approach entails a clearly defined sequence of execution. Project phases do not advance until they receive final approval. Once a phase is completed, revisiting a previous stage can be difficult and costly.
The new platform builds on the success of Zoho Projects, which rapidly grew in 2024, with 55 percent of new users migrating from tools like Microsoft Project and JIRA. Projects Plus addresses the operational complexities that organizations face in the MENA region.
Zoho Projects has become one of the company’s top-selling products in Egypt, with an annual revenue increase of 48 percent since 2023.
According to the company's release, the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region is now the product’s fastest-growing market globally.
"Like many of our enterprise solutions, Zoho Projects Plus was developed to meet the needs our customers had been demonstrating within our software suite, particularly between Zoho Projects and Zoho Analytics," said Hyther Nizam, president of the MEA region at Zoho.
"Projects Plus synthesizes the latest AI-driven tools, data-first analytics, and privacy-focused protections into software that anticipates the evolving needs of international enterprises, expanding Zoho's global reach," Nizam added.
Projects Plus also offers real-time progress tracking and bottleneck analysis with dashboards that provide up-to-the-minute project status updates. Features like quality control analytics ensure deliverables meet predefined standards throughout the project lifecycle, enhancing overall efficiency.
Furthermore, the platform integrates with Zoho’s AI engine, Zia, which adds advanced AI and machine learning capabilities to automate complex data analysis.
Zia assists project managers in making smarter decisions by offering predictive insights, optimizing resource allocation, and improving forecasting accuracy to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Projects Plus also integrates Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace, supporting Arabic Right-to-Left (RTL) and offering an Arabic user interface.
It is designed to meet the needs of various industries, including retail, e-commerce, construction, manufacturing, and automotive, providing a flexible solution for businesses across the MENA region.
