Egypt approves installation of code meters for illegal electricity connections

The Egyptian cabinet has approved a new measure requiring electricity distribution companies to install code meters for any facility or building that is illegally connected to the electricity grid, as per a statement.

This measure applies regardless of the location of the facility or building.
