Egyptian-French alliance seeks to develop comprehensive health coverage

Egyptian Finance Minister and Chairman of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority, Mohamed Maait, reviewed a report on the results of the visit by a delegation from the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) to the branch of the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance in Ismailia, the Ismailia Medical Complex, and the Family Medicine Center in al-Shuhada.





Maait on Saturday ordered continuous work with international development partners to develop Egypt’s model of comprehensive health coverage, to ensure the sustainability of the efficiency of health management, financing, and services provided to citizens.


The minister expressed his appreciation for international support towards Egypt’s efforts to reform health insurance by supporting the comprehensive health insurance system, in accordance with the latest international standards.
