In a bold move to dominate the oil and gas market, Vancouver-based TAG Oil has embarked on drilling the first horizontal well, the BED4-T100, in Egypt's Western Desert. This initiative aims to exploit the Abu Roash "F" formation's significant oil reserves, potentially hosting more than 500 million barrels.
