A report from the Ministry of International Cooperation (MoIC) reveals that Egypt and Italy have engaged in collaborative efforts across various development sectors, amounting to €82 million.

The MoIC states that the debt swap program has played a vital role in fostering cooperation between the two countries, with three components of the program, valued at $350 million, already implemented.

Minister of MoIC, Rania Al-Mashat, recently met with Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirelli, to discuss bilateral cooperation programs and debt swap arrangements.

Al-Mashat expressed her gratitude for the strong partnership with Italy. Initiatives launched in collaboration with Italy have provided crucial funding for numerous priority development projects, including food security, energy, water, education, higher education, civil society, and more.
