Japanese Delegation Visits New Alamein City to Review Investment Opportunities

Officials of the New Alamein City Authority discussed with a Japanese delegation ways of cooperation between the two sides, and studied the investment opportunities available in city, especially fourth generation cities.

This came during the reception of the head of the New Alamein City Authority Ahmed Ibrahim Friday a Japanese delegation that includes representatives of the Japanese International Cooperation Authority (JICA) - Egypt Office, and a representative of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in Japan, accompanied by representatives of the National Initiative for the Development of Egyptian Industry “Ibdaa”.

At the beginning of the visit, an explanatory video was shown that included all the projects, investment opportunities available in the city, and its general plan.

Representatives of the Japanese government also discussed with officials of the New Alamein Authority the investment opportunities available in the city in preparation for presenting it to Japanese investors and companies, especially in the fields of transportation, roads, and water system management (sewage treatment, seawater desalination, etc.).

The delegation also visited the projects in New Alamein City, beginning with a visit to the Beach Towers area and the industrial zone. They praised the extent of the achievement that occurred within the city in record time, and the promising investment opportunities therein.
