Attended by over 200 CEOs and leaders from both the government and private sectors, the conference was under the patronage of the Prime Minister and sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and the National Council for Women. Notable attendees included Hala El-Said, the Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Christina Arab, a representative of the United Nations, and Dr. Hani Mostafa, the executive director of Smart Digital Green SDG. The conference covered vital economic issues at regional, Arab, and international levels and drew female executives from major international economic companies. The primary purposes of the annual event are to strengthen economic ties among businesswomen and female executives worldwide and in Africa, facilitate knowledge transfer, and spotlight success stories. This year, the conference included four significant discussion panels covering varying topics; such as the influence of artificial intelligence on different economic sectors, women's executive leadership in global companies, sustainable financing for women's projects, and education mechanisms for women in executive leadership. The founder and CEO of the CEO Women Conference, Mona Mourad, shared her vision about the event, stating that the conference focuses on the development and growth of diverse economic sectors. Mourad also mentioned the considerable challenges faced by women in executive leadership, considering the current wars, inflation, and economic crises resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, important issues like the future of the global economy and the role of artificial intelligence in different economic fields were explored at the conference. Lastly, Mourad aspires for the conference to become an international platform that brings together regional and global decision-makers to talk about significant advancements made by Arabian women in the economic field. The inaugural CEO Women Conference, organized by ON AIR Group, achieved considerable engagement and attendance from the Arab and international community. Overall, it was a momentous event presenting crucial discussion points and highlighting the strides made by women in the economic sector.
