In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Aviation announced that EgyptAir has resumed flights from London to Luxor, operating one weekly flight until the end of the new winter season.

In addition, two weekly flights are operating on the Madrid/Luxor route, and one weekly flight is operating on the Barcelona/Luxor route.

Air Cairo is also operating flights from Spanish cities to Luxor, with two weekly flights from Madrid and one weekly flight each from Málaga, Bilbao, Valencia, and Barcelona.

One weekly flight is also operating from Rome to Luxor. Luxor Airport also recently saw Nile Air begin service to Rome in September, with one weekly flight.

Nile Air flights from the French cities of Lyon and Nantes to Luxor will start at the end of September 2023.

Additionally, the first flights of Nesma Air from Spain will start at the same time, operating three weekly flights until the end of the winter season.

According to the aviation ministry, these flights will realize the Egyptian state's vision of welcoming 30 million tourists, as well as the ministry's ambition to harmonize flights between EgyptAir and Air Cairo.
