Green Methanol Production Project is the 1st of its kind in Egypt, Middle East
Egypt Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Engineer Tarek El-Molla, received Terje Bielskog, CEO of the Norwegian company SCATEC, the leader in the field of green energy solutions.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Norwegian company’s implementation of the green methanol production project, which is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East.
Al-Mulla confirmed that the two projects come within the framework of the state’s approach to the green economy and a new step added to the efforts of the petroleum sector in reducing emissions, removing carbon, and implementing environmentally friendly green energy projects that enjoy great support from the political leadership.
