Egypt's Tourism Min. Holds Talks in Rome to Boost Tourism from Italy

On Wednesday, Egypt's Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Issa, kick-started his current visit to Rome, Italy by holding professional meetings aimed at promoting the influx of tourism from Italy to Egypt. 


His schedule included meetings with officials and representatives of both the Italian Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Companies (FIAVET) and some organizers of tourist trips to Egypt, including Atelier Vacanze and Boscolo Tours.


During these meetings, Issa illuminated Egypt's national tourism strategy, underlining the significance of bolstering access to Egypt as a top-tier tourist destination. He focused on augmenting the volume of incoming flights in collaboration with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, while also fostering a conducive climate for tourism investment in Egypt. Concurrently, he emphasized refining the Egyptian tourist experience.
