Egypt's Tourism Increased by 33% in Q1 of 2023

She noted that the tourism industry continued to grow thanks to the latest decisions of the minister which allow tourists from China, Turkey, and Indian tourists who hold a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) residence to obtain an entering visa upon arrival to Egypt.

This is also driven by the facilities already offered to holders of a valid and used entry visa from Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Japan, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, she added.
