Tunisia, Egypt seek increased cooperation in vocational training, employment

Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Nasreddine Nsibi met Monday in Cairo with Egyptian Minister of Manpower Hassan Shehata.


Commitment to scale up cooperation in vocational training and employment and promote services in relevant fields of intervention.


These fields of intervention are the training of trainers, leadership and entrepreneurship as part of social and solidarity economy. This in addition to increased youth employability through training services and programmes tailored to the needs of the labour market and enterprises.


The meeting was held as part of Nsibi's participation in the second regional conference of THAMM, Towards a Holistic Approach to Labour Migration Governance and Mobility in North Africa. It illustrates the privileged relations and fruitful cooperation between the two countries.


Nsibi and Shehata said they are committed to further bolster cooperation and exchange experiences in employment and vocational training.
