Saudi pharmaceutical company Jamjoom is preparing to open a huge plant in the Arab Republic of Egypt with an investment in excess of one billion pounds.


The head of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, Tamer Essam, discussed with the chairman of the board of directors of the company, Mahmoud Jamjum, and the commercial attaché of Saudi Arabia in Egypt, Zayed Abdullah Al-Asmari, the details of the opening of a large plant. which coincided with the completion of the licensing procedures for factories by the Egyptian Medicines and Industrial Development Authority.


Mahmoud bin Youssef Jamjum, chairman of Jamjoom Pharma Group, said the new plant was built on an area of ​​15,527 square meters and its investment is close to one billion Egyptian pounds last year.


Jamjoom Pharma Group Chairman of the Board of Directors added that the company aims to provide the plant with around 400 jobs, emphasizing its full confidence in the Egyptian experience which, along with the modern technologies used in production, will help achieve a production target that reaches around 41 million units. per year from different production lines.
