Egypt's Gov extends "House of Homeland" project

Egypt's Cabinet decided on Thursday to extend the eighth phase of the "House of Homeland" project, which offers land plots to Egyptians working abroad.

The extension aims to meet the demands of the applicants seeking to buy pieces of land in distinctive areas, according to the Cabinet media center.

The applicant wishing to buy a piece of land under the project should be an Egyptian and pay the price of the land in US dollars in accordance with the average exchange rate during the two weeks preceding the offering, the center noted.
