Qatari company eyes Egypt's Hilton Ramses Hotel

A Qatari investment company made an offer to buy the Ramses Hilton Hotel, the largest hotel in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, for $320 million.


According to Al Sharq Bloomberg, the "United Kuwari Group" submitted an offer to the Arab International Company for Hotels and Tourism, which owns the hotel.


"The matter is still in the negotiation stage," Al Sharq added.


This offer comes, according to the website, as part of the agreement between Egypt and Qatar on investments and partnerships worth up to $5 billion.


The "Ramses Hilton" is the largest 5-star hotel in Cairo, consisting of 859 rooms and suites, with 8 restaurants, with a height of 36 floors, and is located directly on the Nile in the heart of the Egyptian capital.
