Cairo receives first 2 charter flights from S. Korea after resumption
Cairo International Airport received on Friday two charter flights from South Korean airlines as South Korea has resumed charter flights to the Egyptian capital.
The first flight, operated by Asiana Airlines, came from Seoul with 295 passengers onboard, while the second flight was operated by Korean Air.
In November, South Korea’s Ambassador to Egypt Hong Jin Wook affirmed plans for Korean Air and Asiana Airlines to operate charter flights during January and February 2023.
