Trade Ministry acting to secure commodities in markets ahead of Ramadan

He touched upon facilities by the government and the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to release big quantities of commodities and production supplies.

Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir said on Tuesday that all commercial chambers in the governorates are committed to securing commodities and products at suitable prices ahead of the fasting month of Ramadan.


The chambers act to guarantee that no unjustified hikes are added, Samir said.


He touched upon facilities by the government and the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to release big quantities of commodities and production supplies that exceed five billion dollars.
