Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has appointed Ibrahim Abdelqader Mekki Mahgoub as Chairman of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM).

He will be succeeding, Saad Helal, the former ECHEM chairman who reached retirement age.

According to the ministry’s statement, Mahgoub will start his new position on 13 December 2022.
