Sisi approves law on FY 2021/22 state budget

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi approved Law Numberr 74 of 2021 on the state budget for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021/22.

As per the law, passed by the House of Representatives, the public expenditures for the FY 2021/22 stood at EGP 2,461,014,707,000 (about $157.0 billion) while the state's revenues are estimated at EGP 1,392,506,319,000 (about $88.8 billion).

The law was published Sunday in the official gazette.
