Egypt replaces ministers overseeing security, economy
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi appointed a new cabinet Thursday, replacing his security and economic ministers in a reshuffle signaling challenges he faces in his second term.
Mr. Sisi, who started his term earlier this month after a one-sided election, had first come to office in 2014 with the promise of bringing stability. But his government has struggled to contain an Islamic State insurgency in the Sinai Peninsula and is seeing resentment grow in the working class over its handling of the economy.
