Resumption of flights between Russia and Egypt will require one more inspection at airports, Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov told the Moscow-based Dozhd TV channel.
"Before the proposal to relaunch the flights, one more inspection will certainly be needed," he said. "We’re ready to organize it quickly enough — in a week’s time after we get invitation from our counterparts, but we haven’t received an invitation of this kind so far."
Somewhat earlier, Russia sent a package of materials to Egypt on an inter-governmental agreement on flight.
"We’re communicating fruitfully enough with our Egyptian counterparts and we know fairly well how the situation is moving forward in terms of security in each airport where our airlines plan to make flights to," Sokolov said.
