U.S. Ambassador Denies Withdrawal of Any Us Company From Egyptian Market
US Ambassador to Cairo Stephen Beecroft denied the withdrawal of any US company from the Egyptian market.
"All US companies in Egypt are still operating regardless of the economic crisis that Egypt is facing," said Beecroft.
He said a total amount of USD 2.2bn of US investments has been pumped into the Egyptian market in the last year, representing 16% of foreign investment in Egypt in 2015.
He pointed out to the keenness of the US administration on developing economic cooperation with Egypt, contributing to achieving a comprehensive economic development, and providing job opportunities to the Egyptians in different sectors.
