OLX Egypt proved to be the biggest market place for cars sale in Egypt

OLX Egypt, the biggest classified platform in Egypt and noted as the biggest market for OLX Arabia in Middle East and North Africa region, revealed for the first time its insights on the Egyptian market on cars sale, including the top selling car brands for this year. As the company rounds up research results to close the year, it highlights the immense increase in car for sale ads of 89% between January and November 2015 compared to 2014.

OLX Egypt Auto section recorded over 88 million visits between January and November 2015. This is a clear indication of how Egyptians have chosen OLX Arabia as the preferred platform to sell their cars; due to the free of costs ease in reaching potential buyers with no intermediate 3rd parties and the cash method of payment. Commenting on the car listing figures, Abdallah Touqan, Senior Public Relations and Communications Lead at OLX MENA stated: "OLX is a trustworthy and easy way for Egyptians to sell and buy their secondhand cars. The figures reveal that Egyptians' preferences vary and that the market is wide open for many brands and not limited to one specific car brand."
