CBE to bid over $933m in treasury bills
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on behalf of the Ministry of Finance is scheduled to auction EGP7.5 billion ($933.87 million) in treasury bills Sunday, according to the bank’s official website on Friday.Egypt’s central bank usually holds T-bill auctions Sundays and Thursdays every week.
The government intends to raise EGP281.5 billion ($36 billion) in treasury bills and bonds during the second quarter of fiscal year 2015/2016, marking an increase of EGP67 billion, from EGP214.5 billion planned a year earlier.
