Egypt ranks 3rd in World’s Richest Arabs list: Forbes Middle East

Egypt contributes five names to top 20 Richest Arabs list.

Egypt stands in third place in the World’s Richest Arabs list compiled by Forbes Middle East, contributing five names to the top 20 list.

The Sawiris and Mansour clans possess seats in the top twenty spots on the list.

Construction tycoon Nassef Sawiris falls fifth on the list, after lying in fourth place in the April 2014 list, with a total worth of $6.3bn.

The second Egyptian, lying in 8th place on the top 20 list, was Mohamed Mansour, who climbed up one ranking from April 2014’s list, where his fortune increased from $3.1bn to $4bn.

Naguib Sawiris, Nassef’s brother, was the third Egyptian and 14th on the list, with a total worth of $3.1bn.

The fourth Egyptian making it on the top 20 list is Youssef Mansour, who has acquired a total worth of $2.9bn.

Finally the fifth Egyptian, and number 19 on the list, is Yasseen Mansour with $2.3bn.
