Egypt: Sisi Orders Launching Global Marketing Campaign for Suez Canal Projects

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has ordered the launch of an international marketing campaign for the new Suez Canal project.

During a meeting on Wednesday 1/4/2015 with Head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish, the President underscored the importance of developing a marketing plan for the mega project, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.

The meeting took up the progress made at the project so far.

"We are ahead of schedule," Mamish told the President.

As well as building a second canal, Egypt plans to create a major logistics and shipping corridor alongside the canal banks.
