KCCI stresses significance of trade partnership with Egypt

First Deputy Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Khaled Al-Saqr underlined here on Monday the importance of exerting efforts to maintain the level of strong economic relations between Kuwait and Egypt and work to increase the volume of investment as well as to engage in new business partnerships and investment.

Al-Saqr told reporters following a meeting with Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Kuwait Abdul Karim Sulaiman that the current stage Egypt is going through requires efforts to be redoubled from both countries on the level of both public and private sectors.

He noted that the visit by the Chamber's delegation to Egypt last April was intended to strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries.
For his part, Egyptian Ambassador suggested that an economic Gulf Investment Forum be held in Egypt for the sake of strengthening economic relations between the GCC and Egypt in order to highlight both sides' capabilities and trade and investment opportunities available to GCC businessmen.
