Egypt Seals Off 3 More Gaza Smuggling Tunnels

Egyptian security forces sealed off three more of the numerous smuggling tunnels under Gaza. The Egyptians uncovered the tunnels near the border with Egypt. They reported that the tunnels were being used for smuggling "construction materials".

Gaza is bordered by Israel, Egypt and the Mediterranean sea. It was part of Israel until the 2005 Disengagement. Gaza has been ruled by Hamas since 2007.
