At a time when developed economies show signs of stagnation, investors are desperate to find the right place to park their cash, and companies are hungry to reach out to new markets. African countries’ rapid growth over the past decade offers exciting business opportunities for companies outside the continent as well as for Egyptian companies willing to introduce their products to new consumers. Lack of experience, absence of technical skills and support on the ground as well as poor understanding of multi-cultural, multi-language and multi-belief markets should not discourage investors to seek high yields in the dynamic Sub-Saharan African economies. However spending large amounts of money introducing new brands, products and services is no guarantee for success if you do not invest in an efficient, well-structured and innovative marketing and advertising which can be effectively delivered on the ground.
