Sawiris Scholarships at the ETH Zurich, Switzerland
Calling all excellent graduates seeking a PhD project to not miss this opportunity of a lifetime.
The program “Sawiris Scholarships – Science and Technology for the South” promotes doctoral research for the benefit of developing countries.
Project proposals have to be innovative and relevant for improving the livelihoods of poor people in developing countries. The topics have to be of high scientific standards and at the same time aim at direct implementation of the results.
Two scholarships will be granted each year. A selection committee will choose the candidates holding a Master’s degree of a university according to specific selection criteria. Upon successful completion of the scholarships, the researchers will receive their doctoral degrees from the ETH Zurich.
