African leaders to invest in entrepreneurship

The second edition of the forum sent a strong message to African leaders that Egypt is highly interested in mutual investments with its neighbors.

Over the past few days, the city of Sharm El-Sheikh hosted African leaders and businessmen taking part in the African Business Forum 2017.

The conference ended with the African leaders drawing on the importance of inclusive growth, strengthening bilateral relations and integration and focusing on youth development and supporting entrepreneurship.

The second edition of the forum was entitled "Driving investment for inclusive growth" and sent a strong message to African leaders that Egypt is highly interested in mutual investments with its neighbors. The conference highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and private sector investments as means to economic growth in the continent.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation alongside the COMESA Regional Investment Agency(RIA).

The attendees included Chair of the African Union and President of Guinea Alpha Conde, President of Chad Idriss Deby Itno, President of Cote d'Ivoire Alassane Dramane Ouattara, President of Comoros Azali Assoumani and President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed of Somalia along with the biggest investors and businessmen in Africa.
